What ViceTrace currently stores

• Wix member identity: when you choose Start free or Log in, Wix handles the authentication flow and its necessary session cookies.
• Launch interest: email, selected plan interest, consent and source page.
• Evidence and support: the contact details and content you submit, stored in a private Wix CMS collection.
• Local progress: saved clues, custom objectives, notes and session summaries are stored in your browser’s local storage, not synced to a ViceTrace account.

Why it is used

To operate secure sign-in, respond to support, review evidence, maintain a consent-based launch list and preserve the local product state you ask the browser to remember. ViceTrace does not sell personal data.

Cookies and browser storage

Wix authentication uses cookies that are necessary for login and security. ViceTrace uses local storage for the Progress beta and saved research preferences. You can delete that data from the Progress page. Non-essential advertising cookies are not intentionally deployed by this custom frontend.

Retention and access

Private inbox submissions are retained only as long as needed for the stated purpose, editorial accountability or legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion, send a privacy request through Support using the same email address.

Payments

No checkout is enabled and ViceTrace does not currently collect card or billing details. A separate reviewed privacy update will be required before paid subscriptions launch.

International services and changes

Wix services may process data under Wix’s own service terms and infrastructure. This staging notice may change as account sync, analytics or subscriptions are introduced; material changes will be dated.
